Arthroscopy and Arthroscopic Surgery. Arthroscopy is a surgical procedure in which a small fiberoptic telescope (arthroscope) is inserted into a joint. Fluid is then inserted to enlarge the joint and to allow for the visualization of the structures within. The benefits of arthroscopy involve small incisions, faster healing and more rapid recovery with less scarring.
Sports Medicine. Care of injuries related to athletic activities (ACL/PCL reconstructions, torn cartilage (meniscus), chondromalacia, malalignment syndrome, tibial tubercle fracture, cartilage grafting, total knee replacement, etc.).
Total Joint Replacement. Joint replacement is one of the greatest advances of this century (hip, knee, shoulder).
Injectable therapy. For relief of pain in the knee due to osteoarthritis, Hyalgan is a natural substance produced by every joint in the body that acts as a "shock absorber" in the joints.
Shoulder and Elbow. Care of diseases and injuries (rotator cuff tears, impingement syndrome, tennis elbow, golfer's elbow, cubital tunnel, shoulder instability, calcium deposits, shoulder arthritis, etc.).
